Aishwarya Rai, the gorgeous Bachchan bahu who was attending Mumbai Police annual event Jashn 2010 bollywood ka dhamaka at Andheri Sports Complex recently, looked so uncomfortable at the sight of Vivek Oberoi (her ex-boyfriend) that the hero just disappeared from her vicinity.
In fact, Vivek Oberoi was not prepared to enter the venue when he spotted that Aishwarya Rai was sitting in the same row next to him. However, the organizers somehow persuaded him to attend the function and he relented.
Sources present at the function say that Vivek was conscious of the precarious situation from the very beginning and so when he saw Aishwarya Rai trying to have a sneak view of the situation in discomfort, he decided that enough was enough and disappeared from the scene.
Earlier, Manish Malhotra, the ace designer of bollywood who was standing near the first row, tried to pacify things by sitting between Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi, but discomfort level was too high and that led Vivek to go away.
In fact, Aishwarya Rai has never felt comfortable with Vivek Oberoi after their break up, and the femme fatale going ahead and marrying Abhishek Bachchan. On the other hand, Vivek Oberoi has been making overtures to Abhishek Bachchan and Big B by making appearances at different social occasions (like the one at Big B’s mother death etc).
But all these things have made Aishwarya only more uncomfortable with Vivek Oberoi, who had at one time challenged Salman Khan for Ash through a press conference.
A similar awkward situation had arisen for Aishwarya Rai when she bumped into Salman Khan at Mehboob studios recently. Aishwarya Rai was coming out of the studio after completing her shoot for Sanjay Bhansali’s ‘Guzaarish’, and Salman Khan was there for a promotional shoot of upcoming ‘Veer’.
While Aishwarya was said to be shocked after facing Salman Khan, the macho man of bollywood did not speak a word after that incident and left the venue after completing his part of the promotional thing at the studio. A similar situation was said to have arisen at the Mumbai Police event held at Andheri sports complex between Aishwarya Rai and Vivek Oberoi.
